the cheat script made my game go mad... :cry:
It removed all entrys in the station Trade menu and other menus are blank or filled with "readtext%§%$§%"

I will try and modify the damage damage values of my BHEPTs to blow it up later today.

Are you using the Cycrow script installer for any script?

Not for every script i am running ATM.

PS: I modifed the Firestorm Torpedo damage to insane values. It is a freaking nuklear warhead now. It can blow up every station with one hit running at 500 km/h speed. :lol:

you should probably use the Cycrows Script manager for all scripts for X³

as that silent hunter III one is probably not adding the scripts and text files properly.

Generally this means text files are corrupted, clashing with other scripts or in the wrong place.


tell me, does the silent hunter installer use "scripts" and "T files" folders

Hi Stevio

The generic script installer is configured to be usefull in every game. I checked the files it wrote in my X3 folders and everything is ok.

That the Cheat script isnt working for me is no problem at all. I just thought there is a easier way to destroy the EQ dock coming with your script :)

PS: The reason I use the generic script installer is just that I use scripts for a longer time then when Cycrow made his installer hehe.

I killed the EQ Dock with a modified Firestorm Trop, so everything is fine now.

hello xxerzengel,

don't know, are u from germany or another country?
Maybe there's a problem with some t- folder - datas, sorry for my very bad english...
I'm from germany and had similar problems with one other script, cause i haven't renamed the 44xxxx data into 49xxxx (in the t- folder - 49 stands for germany e.g.).
If that should be the problem u also have to open the renamed datas with the texteditor and change the second line also from 44 to 49 (germany)...
To me, it helped, but didn't tried it with any script installer... but the data should be in the t- folder anyway, after the use than - Maybe it solves the problem - It's only an idea....
I would be happy to know, if that was the problem and if i have helped than...

Well you have to use mods, but the Military transport can mount it if you give it front mounted guns, I have also modded the Xperimental to mount it as well as the P.

Mainly just like the look of the beam, it seems bigger than the Kyons (though that may just be my imagination).

I'm more comfortable playing with doubleshadow's editor than scripting though, never got into it back in X2 (had to learn how to merge mods because of all the ship mods I wanted).

I`ve got stevios weapons dock installed I think how do I now activate it ,
is it by the "r" key then what

Are you asking because you can't find the station or just asking in general how to activate it

Well, now i have added a Setup script to Call the Stevio.weaponsdealer.xml

it should place the factory upon loading.

HOWEVER if you cannot find the station (behind south gate) scroll down to the script "Stevio.weaponsdealer" in the script editor

Press 'r' on it,
then select null Pressing 'Enter key' on it
and then press enter again until you get back to the Script editor.

if you have any more problems please post again :wink:

I`ve found the weapons dealer but it says my notoriety is too low so trading is restricted. what does this mean? anyway thanks for your help

The Weapons dealer factory is owned by the Argon therefore rep applies.

when betty says "Your notoriety is too low, Trade restrictions are in affect" (in her sexy voice) you cannot trade in that item as the race forbids to sell it to you.


i tried such races as Race 1 Race 2 and Race 3 but your rep with them is low and hard to gain notoriety with them.

i was going to try something a little later that may enhance this script a bit :wink:

unless you set it as race 1, and then set the notority as high as yu can in a script ;)

any easy way to get access to all wares rep free is too set the owner to Freindly race as below :wink:
