Community Extended Mod Pack {EMP} v1.4 & 2.01

Thanks Cycrow. But for a Noob like me, Installing and uninstalling scripts is no problem using the installer but using the packager to pack a mod then installing it so the files go to the right folders (in this case the X3 dir) is something I haven't worked out. I tried but no luck.
Does that mean then (if I ever work it out) I could pack Imps Callback Mod and instal it with the script installer?

thats correct yeah, you can add mod files, and mods like that are pretty simple
if u want the emp, try http://ircwhore.co.uk/x3/scripts/emp.spk
to package up the others, you just enter the script name and author in the packager, select the mod check button, goto add files and select the cat and dat file to add, and save package, that will create ur package with the mods in, then just install those as you would any other spk script

winrar is just an extraction program like winzip.
you download the program and install it, google winrar to find it.
once installed, all you have to do is double click on the rar file and it will open up, then just goto extract and select the correct directory.
alertnativly, you can get the SCript manage available fro mthe stickies here, install that, and get the spk version of emp, Here and install it via the Script Manager

This is a small chance plea that anyone else has had this as I posted about this in the main forum a few weeks back and got no luck.
I love using all of your scripts Cycrow as you know, but for some of them this EMP is required, but every time I install it , it seems to trigger off a problem that there was with one of the earlier versions of the game (1.0 - 1.2 I think) where upon starting a game there would be certain ships mainly TS's that showed up Red even though the race is a friendly one (Argon, Boron) {and before anyone tells me to check my race relation settings in the Global Commands Id best point out Im a veteran of the X games as Cycrow and others will tell you}. Im not saying its down to the EMP but it does seem to happen when I have it on my current installation. I just decided to start a fresh game and its happening, I start in AP and plenty of blue icons floating about the place and then some RED ones which are Argon or Boron TS's ?
Anyone else come across this - //Stroppy mode On : and im 99% (dont believe in the 100% thing) sure its not to do with my in-game settings or actions so no nooby answers please //Stroppy mode off

well, EMP shouldn't really effect ships and turn them red, so not eterlikly sure what might be causing it.
do you have any other mods running other than EMP ?
and how did you install emp, did you download the zip file and just extract it to the X3 directory ?
if you did, this possibly overright the latest patch file as they share the same name because EMP is loaded as a fake patch.
you can install it manually by extracting it elsewhere and rename it, or you could get the spk version and install that through the installer, it will rename it for you.
but before installing, i would also reinstall the patch incase it did overright the files
