Is it true that for North America Terran Conflict is only available through steam?

Would it be cheeky to ask for a copy and paste for the people who can't see it at work?

"What we did is this: Once we saw how cool XTM really was, we hired as many of these guys as we could to work on X3: Terran Conflict! So they joined our team and brought some of the ideas over into the new project.
"
Awesome. I'm very interested to see how that turned out. I've long thought one of the biggest reasons to make a game moddable is to identify new talent with a particularly keen interest in *your* game. and I'm amazed that so few companies seem to do anything to take advantage of it.

Or order from the egosoft shop or play.com both of whom I believe will post to the US.

If we ordered it from the Egosoft shop, will the English version be considered the same as an North America version?

It's not that daft a question - I've seen plenty of titles that have "UK English" and "American Englsh" as separate language choices. Strange, but true.

And some games where there is extra content in the US version for example.
In this case there are no differences however AFAIK.

I just did not know if there was any difference between the versions for you guys in Europe and us guys over here in the States. I'll go ahead and place an order for the dvd. Cheers.

CBJ, I'm in the process of the order and I type in my last name "Austin" and the next screens keep changing it to "Aeustin". Is this suppose to happen? I'm at the last step for submission of the order to onfirm it.

Did you actually
read the news letter?
Will there be a demo?
Yes. First there will be a rolling demo which is also a 3D benchmark. We hope to release this REALLY soon now (tm). But a while later we also plan to release a playable demo.

Thanks. I submitted the order and got confirmation in email for it and it still shows my last name as "Aeustin". Should I contact the order department or just let it "ride"?
