[SHIPS] Ships in XSP format
I've created various ships on my site in XSP format.
They've all been created using the latest Ship Manager and i have tested them all to see if they work individually.

Nice,
those r the same ships that r found in DDRS, am i right?
One thing about X-wing and Y-wing:
X-wing is fighter, Ywing is bomber, that means: X is faster, more manuvrable and has much less cargo space than Y-wing (almost none).
So, u have to re-balance them (at least for manuvrability).
Also, Tie Defender speed is 155 MGLT and TIE Interceptor's - 111, and YT-2400 has bigger cargo space than YT-1300 (150 'somethings' instead of 100). Speed of YT-1300 is 100 (same as X-wing, but this is something wrong about it - it was slower than TIE fighters, anyway, thats what books say).
As for speed, X-wing speed is 100 MGLT (same as TIE Fighter), Y-wing 80 (or 100, see wiki).
I know that im talking sh... but hey, i grow up playing those games...
It would be nice to have those ships at same roles thay had in movies etc...
Greets,

Take a look at something that will take care of all of your questions... (Or... Statements...)

I know i can, i did it
But then i will have to go through DDRS scripts and change AI behavior (so it will not take TS to attack mission, coz ti was a M3 earlier)...
Thats why im babling about those ships constantly hehe, maybe Deadly will consider those mad-man cries and place those ships in correct roles
BTW, any1 has a TIE Figter/Bomber model? If so, ill gladly put them in X3 (even if it will take me a month to learn how to do so )

Yep, he was talking he has it, but not that he will include them for 100% -
And this is fully understandable...The basic Tie Fighter and also the Tie Bomber are pretty much ready to go, but since we already have a heap of small and medium fighters, I have been focusing my efforts on finishing off the missing M6, TP/TS, and TL ships.

about the xwings tie fighters and the rest, depending on the books you use thier stats differ greatly, x wings had 2 or 3 versions, so did y wings, personally in the pnp roleplay i have a y wing that was faster than xwings because it was the longrange scout, where its cargo capacity was used for scanning equipment etc instead of for massive amounts of bombs, also because of its scout type it was faster to get away from stuff, also later varients of xwing had the full cargo capacity of the y wing as well as the same shields and was slightly faster than the original x wing.
It all depends on your source information, if you use the lucas games as a base i would say thats the best option, use the ship speeds from there as a basis for a ship because it was from George Lucas`s own company and not some wild interpretation like with a lot of others, for instance the rpg books also mention ships that are built after the defeat of the empire

the cockpits tab desplays the turret cockpits which has the scene and weapons you can mount on them, you can only add and remove entries from there. You can customize them in the Customize Ship dialog if you goto the turrets tab.
for the Main cockpit, you need to change the cockpit scene in the scene tab.
