Good thing I asked for help, the Boron Shark turrets are now fixed. You can all thank DeadlyDa for this one.

I've been using v1.1 of this mod without problems. But when I install v1.2, my Nova Raider's turret breaks. When going to turret view, the ship's hull model is in the view and does not fire. I've tried, saving and loading, undocking and redocking, ejecting and re-entering, flying through a gate, jumping, but nothing works. Reverting back to v1.1 fixes the problem. Can anyone confirm whether or not they have this problem with v1.2?

If you have trouble with the Nova Raider rear turret, try downloading from here instead...

hello my nova turret does not work.

the vanguard. when I press F1 now it looks through the back instead of the previous non working broken view. but it still does not fire either by manualk control or otherwise...

I have an Ahept in it.. energy is there... no fire... why?

It works with the Egosoft 1.3 patch. I don't know about the 1.3.1 Community thing. I haven't downloaded it. If they made it compatible with my mod, then it should work with it.

When you are installing this do you overwrite the Cat6 files with the ones already there its just the new one is only something like 459 bytes replacing one for 23500 bytes. Is this right or am I doing something wrong . I have 1.31 installed

Rename the community patch files to 07 or whatever the next free number you have.

Community patch ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I have tried to install the community patch to fix my Orca's rear turret, but after installing it I find it has corrupted my previous saved game. After uninstalling the save game becomes fine again. Is this because you have to restart the game if you install this patch or am I doing something else wrong. I saved the patch, unzipped it and then cut and paste into the x3 directory. I am running 1.3 and the only script I am running is the station trader script.

What do you mean by corrupted? If you mean the models appear broken immediately after loading, did you try going through a gate? If you install something that involves changing the models and load a save, you usually have to fly to the next sector to reset it.

When I try to load a game I get the message "save game corrupted" and then CTD, I do not get the option to play the game let alone rejump through gates, I see in the previous post ( thanks for moving this thread) that it mentions renumbering the file number, I will try this, even though I have gone and bought an Elephant now as I am to impatient to play this game :D
