X4 Pub Beta 7.3 - Please put the [Load Game] Option back in the start menu

For what ever reason the Load Game option was removed from the start menu.

Please put it back, its really dumb that I have to load an arbitrary save first before I can open the save menu and load the save I want or delete one.

It wasn't removed, and you don't have to do that. It's in the Play Open Universe sub-menu.

It is confusing though - and will be for a new players.

Maybe at least change the name or add some info in the tooltip?

Thank you for letting me know where it is now, but it is still really odd that you folks moved it into that sub menu.

Even knowing where it is, it is still annoying that I have to navigate a submenu to load a game. I think having it in the main menu like it used to be would be better.

I was going to suggest that, too, but I think that would lead to a lot more people not using the tutorials. This isn't a game you want to face without at least some tutorials first! It would be nice if they could start the menus as expanded, but there are too many tutorials to fit.

Maybe if each parent menu had an explanation under it? So:

Continue Game

Play Tutorials
- Learn how to play
Play Timelines
- Play the history of X
Play the Main Game
- Play X4
- Flail around in X4 blindly until you give up and play some tutorials (text to use if they haven't done at least a couple of tutorials )

Why would you put it there? It makes no logical sense and is a step back in user friendliness. No changes should be a step back in user friendliness.

Try looking at the latest version. It's been put back at the top level of the menu.
